Hammond Tours - Terms and Conditions

Hammond Tours, Inc., is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, delay, irregularity or loss you may suffer or incur arising from the acts or failure to act on the part of any air carriers, public transport company, hotel, car rental company, subcontractor or other person or organization, whether or not such air carrier, public transport company, hotel, car rental company, subcontractor or other person or organization is rendering these services or accommodations offered or supplied on the tour. Hammond Tours, Inc., accepts no responsibility for losses or expenses due to delay or changes in schedules, sickness, diseases, local laws, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, social or labor unrest, flight cancellations or misconnections due to mechanical problems, acts of God, strikes, government actions, war, terrorism or other causes, conditions, actions or omissions outside of Hammond Tours, Inc.’s, control. All such losses will be borne by you. By embarking upon travel you voluntarily assume all risks. Baggage is at owner’s risk throughout the tour unless insured. Your booking shall constitute consent to the above. To guard against these unforeseen circumstances, we recommend that you purchase travel insurance.

Deposit Payments: Deposit Payments: A nonrefundable deposit of $250 per person is required for all tours. Deposits are required within 7 days of making the reservations.

Final Payments: Full payment must be made no later than 90 days prior to departure date. Hammond Tours, Inc., accepts payment by check or major credit cards. If your Final Payment is not received as scheduled, your reservation will be automatically cancelled and your Deposit Payment will be forfeited.

Late Bookings: Tours booked between 14 and 30 days prior to departure date will incur a late fee of $50 per person in addition to Overnight Delivery Charges when necessary.

Revision Fee: If you choose to make any changes to your travel plans, once you have paid in full, a $25.00 per person fee will be charged for each revision.

Cancellations:If written notice is received by Hammond Tours, Inc., more than 90 days prior to departure, a processing fee of $250.00 per person will apply. From 89 to 60 days prior to departure, a cancellation penalty of 25% per person will apply. From 59 days to 31 days prior to departure, a cancellation penalty of 50% per person will apply. From 30 days to day of departure, a cancellation penalty of 100% will apply. On or after departure date, a 100% cancellation penalty fee applies. No refund can be made for nonrefundable airfares. Travel Insurance: We recommend insurance coverage. The premium must be paid at the time of deposit for coverage to apply. We offer Travel Insurance through Travelguard. See the Policy for full details.

Tour Membership: Hammond Tours, Inc., reserves the right to accept or reject any traveler and to remove from a tour any person whose conduct is inappropriate, dangerous and/or detrimental to the tour group or to himself or herself.

Coach Transportation: Coach tours are usually operated by 25–49 seat motor coaches. When passenger numbers are low, a smaller coach may be used.

Accommodations: Land arrangements are provided as described in each tour program. Hammond Tours, Inc., reserves the right to substitute hotels for accommodations in similar categories.

Meals: Meals are provided as specified in each tour program. Dinners in hotels are on a table d’hote basis. Visits, Entertainment and Other Features: Hammond Tours, Inc., reserves the right to substitute visits, entertainment and other features when establishments are closed or cannot be visited for other reasons beyond Hammond Tours, Inc.’s, control.

Luggage: Unless indicated otherwise, handling of one piece of luggage per person is included in the cost of all coach tours. Luggage is carried at owner’s risk throughout the tour unless insured. Hand baggage and small articles such as coats, umbrellas or cameras are entirely in the care of the passengers.

Gratuities: Tips for services of a personal nature and to the chauffeur/driver/ guide are not included in the tour cost and are left to your discretion.

Smoking: Smoking is not allowed on the coaches.

Not Included: All items of a personal nature (included but not limited to room service, beverages, telephone charges, dry cleaning, laundry, special food requests) and meals not specified on the tour itinerary are not included and must be paid by the passenger.

Car Rentals: When picking up rental car, you will have the option of paying for collision deductible insurance. If you should decline insurance, you may be required to leave a cash deposit or credit card imprint to cover any damage to car rental. Cars are rented for 24-hour periods with all independent package tours. To avoid additional overtime charges it is important that car rentals are returned on time. Pricing: Pricing information is based upon most recent information at printing time. All prices are subject to change without limitation. All reasonable efforts will be made to notify any tour participant of any material changes in price prior to departure.

Claims and Disputes: You agree that all claims and disputes with Hammond Tours, Inc., are subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the New York State Supreme Court, Albany County.
